We have many ways for you to get and share information at Escondido. Below are the main channels:
- The Globe is a monthly paper newsletter with school news, features and district events.
- Escondido eNews Escondido eNews is compiled and sent out once a week via email, with occasional supplemental emails as needed. The eNews goes to an email distribution list managed by the Escondido PTA. It’s used mainly to inform and get the word out quickly about school events as well as district-wide and community information. This is a public list, and anyone can join or leave at any time. The PTA would like to have every Escondido family subscribed to the list. To subscribe, send an email to eNews@EscondidoSchool.org. The list may not be used for political campaigning, advertising, or solicitations, and is moderated to avoid any bulk or spam messages.
- Escondido Bulletin Boards Located near the office and outside your classroom, they are a great resource for families and updated frequently.
- Friday Folders Friday folders contain hard copy of the Globe and key Escondido and class-specific information
- Infinite Campus This is the tool used by the Palo Alto school district to communicate with parents. Every parent or guardian of a student registered in the district receives a unique code that allows them access to Infinite Campus online. Through this portal they can register their student for the next school year, track their student’s attendance and grades, and choose how they’d like to be reached for official school and district communications. - Student Directory In the fall parents and guardians receive a detailed student directory with everyone’s contact information. This is a wonderful resource for connecting with Escondido families.
