There are three programs available to parents needing after school care for their children.
Amigos de Palo Alto

Location: 1611 Stanford Ave in Palo Alto California, across the street from Stanford University and Escondido Elementary School.
The After School Program known as Amigos Fun Club is designed for children in Kindergarten, First and Second grades. The program offers story time, arts and crafts, games and homework help if needed. Children will have a chance to socialize in Spanish, regardless if Spanish is the language spoken at home or acquired through our immersion program.
Escondido Kids Club

Location:Escondido Kids’ Club (EKC) is located on-site at Escondido Elementary School in the back field.
Escondido Kids club offers daily after-school care to children in kindergarten through fifth grade. We strive to offer a relaxed family setting, where each child engages in activities that foster both problem solving and social interaction skills, encouraging each child to develop a healthy self esteem and positive attitudes toward others. The program places an emphasis on individual growth by nurturing responsible social behavior and negotiation skills.
Pepper Tree After School Program

The Pepper Tree School is Stanford’s only after-school program. Located in Escondido Village and operating between the hours of 12:00 noon and 5:30 p.m., the program is for children in kindergarten through second grade. Pepper Tree offers enrollment priority and a reduced tuition rate to Stanford graduate students who are residents of Escondido Village. Pepper Tree is open to all Stanford affiliates. The Palo Alto community may also enroll on a space-available basis.
Hours: Monday through Friday 12:00 to 5:30 PM. throughout the academic year. A four week summer program is also offered.
